As a non-profit housing co-operative WCRI is excempt from the Tenant Protection Act of Ontario but is governed by the Co-operative Corporations Act of Ontario.

The Online Bylaws, Policies and Procedures have been compiled for the member's use. There is a copy of all the documents below located in the Office.

The policies below represent the most recent versions of WCRI policies. The first column represents policies created by the Board of Directors and the membership (Bylaws); the second column represents policies adopted by the staff under the policy governance model.

The policies adopted by the staff under the policy governance model are in the midst of a comprehensive update. While the policies below are the most up-to-date versions of these policies, they will be undergoing regular updates. When referencing these policies, please be sure to check that you are using the most recent version. Note that the date included in the document name displays the date of the update.
